With the Subway® Employee Bursary, corporate employees, franchise owners, and restaurant team members now qualify for a 25% tuition discount on any of our 9 diploma programs. Immediate family members can enrol too, receiving 15% off their tuition. In addition, we’ll waive the standard application fee too.

Film and TV Production

Join us at our brand new, state-of-the-art studio campus in Toronto. A recent $2.5 million investment in the latest industry-grade production gear means you’ll have access to the same cameras, lenses, and lighting kits used by Hollywood studios today.

Screenwriting

Welcome to the Writers’ Room—intensive, collaborative, specialized. Work with creative peers and accomplished screenwriters while you find your writer’s voice. Network with industry professionals, learn the filmmaking business, and graduate with a portfolio showcasing your new skills.
(This program does not have April or July intakes )

Delivery Mode: Flexible (choose from learning on campus, remotely through live instruction, or a hybrid of both)

Acting for Film, TV and Theatre

Working, credited actors will teach you the artistic, technical, and business sides of the industry at our new studio campus. You’ll graduate with an impressive demo reel of work, a headshot provided by us, a complimentary theWorkbook membership, and eligible for your first ACTRA credit.

Game Design and Animation

Conceive, design, model, and animate characters and worlds as you learn directly from working game creators. This immersive program will give you hands-on experience with industry-standard tools and workflows. Graduate with a diverse portfolio, ready to showcase your new skills to AAA game studios.

Game Development

Working video game creators will teach you the entire game development process for console, PC, and mobile. Graduate with a diverse portfolio, ready to pursue roles with leading AAA game studios, or with the skills to launch a studio of you own.

Learn how to plan, shoot, direct, edit, and market your own stories. You’ll gain practical experience while building a polished portfolio.

Screenwriting

Imagine brainstorming your ideas in a Writers’ Room! In this immersive program, you will learn how to write for all genres while you develop your own unique writing style. You will graduate in just 24 months with a portfolio showcasing your new skills and range.

In Ontario, Yorkville University offers a Bachelor of Creative Arts degree which is delivered on-campus and online. The institution has been granted a consent by the Ministry of Colleges and Universities (MCU) to offer the BCA for a 7-year term starting 12/17/2020. Prospective students are responsible for satisfying themselves that the program and the degree will be appropriate to their needs (e.g., acceptable to potential employers, professional licensing bodies or other educational institutions).
